This collection, while only a small portion of my enitre body of work, represents the best of my abilities as an artist across a variety of mediums. In particular, I have specialized in pencil drawings and sketches, digital photographs, and 3D computer animation. In general, I place specific emphasis in looking at lighting and composition within a piece, and focus on detailed and accurate representations of my subjects.
This section of the portfolio contains still renders of my 3D computer graphics work as well as the associated pre-production artwork such as concept drawings and storyboards, arranged by project.
I have ammassed a large collection of black & white and digital photographs over the past few years, especially in my travels. This section highlights the best of these photos, which often focus on an interesting lighting effect or compositional arrangement.
Within the area of sketches and drawings, I have developed two distinct styles, the first emphasizing the use of smooth tone to create highly accurate renders of the subject, and the second using finely controled lines to imply areas of light and shade. This section includes pieces that range in length from 5 minutes to 50 hours of work, and cover both landscape and figure drawing.
